ok i want to buy a projector and a screen. I have a ps3 and a digital set top box. i have a fan in the roof but i could mount the projector on the wall thats not the problem. I need to know how to get the ps3 and set top box pluged in to the projector. What equipment is needed. I know i need speakers but what else. Where can i get a complete package in melbourne australia i know the big picture people and just klapp but i need cheap package. It dosent even need to be 1080p. I can have a screen up to 60". Please help any info.

If you have ambient light then you will want a regular flat screen, preferably plasma. I wouldn't get a projector and screen unless I was willing to spend around $2,500 would have to be for a screen size of 70" or greater. Remember, even a small amount of ambient light will be brutal for even entry level $2,500 projectors that have good lumen output. Anything under $2,500 will be unwatchable. Go to a local home theater store and put in just a little bit of ambient light. It's pretty nasty.

If I were you, I'd get a 50-58" Panasonic plasma S1 series TV.

Remember, most people consider a good home theaters screen to cost at minimal of $500 for a 64" screen.
