I'm looking for curtains to fit a sliding glass door?
Well I have the type of slider that only a part of it slides from side to side to open. And it leads to an outside Pourcher. I'm looking for curtains that are very sharp and with class and usually seen in 2 different colors. A color on the sides and another color on top of the rod. What I'm looking for is the name of this type of curtain and what size standard bar be? I'm moving into a new apartment that will be unqualified and would only have to put what they have not yet been able to measure, good sounds silly but I'm trying to eliminate some of the work easier! thanks!
You can prepare curtains made from various locations, including Lowes / Home Depot, Ikea, or destination / Linens' n Things. All these actions of the shop inexpensive curtains and rods, and I am sure you will find what you are after there.
how to soundproof a cheap room?
I was thinking of using double-sided tape and taking some boxes of egg foam mattress you can buy cheaper at Walmart and thick pillows pushed up the windowsill, along with the curtains. I have solid wood floors and carpet padding, so I think I'm good, what do you think I can making is relatively cheap.
Soundproofing and cheap do not go together. First, egg box does absolutely nothing. At best it can be considered as acoustic treatment, but not even do a good job on that. Only faced with the absorption of high frequencies and thus can be used to solve flutter echoes and such, but you can not expect any soundproofing out of it! Most people do not even consider it proper acoustic treatment. But acoustic treatment and soundproofing are completely different. Sound insulation is the sound isolation. The acoustic treatment is to control reflections, waves, etc. Soundproofing is very difficult to install afterwards. It takes a lot of planning and care, even if you are building from scratch. Most of the insulation is produced in the planning and construction, and there is much more effective you can do to equip it. Thus, a sound proof wall?
