Studiofoam Wedgies are 1' squares of 2" thick Studiofoam and are a great solution for spot treating sound studios, home listening rooms, iso booths and more. With slightly more wedges per square foot than 2" acoustic Studiofoam, Wedgies feature maximized surface area for greater exposure to sound waves. Studiofoam Wedgies are a great solution for small flutter echo problem areas and, when spread apart, yield beneficial sound diffusion off their exposed edges. A famous designer used Wedgies and called to tell us they were even more effective than he'd hoped they'd be, so you know you can trust them to tame your space! Wedgies are available in Charcoal Gray only.

Description

The VE-1 was formulated for maximum damping efficiency over a broad frequency and temperature range. It is made of a mineral filled viscoelastic polymer that transforms vibrational energy into thermal energy (low level heat). It provides twice the damping of asphalt based product without the weight and odor. The VE-1 has a grain leather finish and is cosmetically pleasing, so it can be used on front speaker baffles and other applications that are visible to the eye. The flexible nature of the VE-1 damping sheets enables it to mold and conform to irregular surfaces. It can be easily cut using a standard razor knife or scissors. The pressure sensitive adhesive makes for easy peel and stick installations and will adhere to most surfaces including metal, wood and fiberglass. Excellent flame resistance, can handle continuous temperatures up to 250° F and meets UL94V-O. Thickness: .050".

The design is very pleasing to the eye while offering outstanding sound absorption qualities making them the perfect solution for rehearsal studios, auditoriums, home theaters, broadcast booths, and more. Practical one square foot tile size can be easily installed in any size room with spray adhesive, double sided tape, contact cement, or glue/caulk. Tile size is 12" x 12" x 2". Sold in cases of (16) 12" x 12" x 2" tiles (16 sq. ft./4 ft. x 4 ft. coverage area per case.) Charcoal gray color.

Description

Our Super Wedge acoustic wall tiles were designed to help control low frequency response problems within a room. Virtually all rooms have 90° corners where two walls come together and meet a flat ceiling. This corner, commonly referred as a "trihedral corner", can boost bass frequencies as much as 9 dB! By placing Super Wedge tiles in the corners (in an alternating pattern) from floor to ceiling, these low frequency anomalies can be controlled. Note: We recommend you start with Super Wedges in each corner. If the problem persists, you can add more wedges horizontally from the corner along the wall/ceiling juncture. The Super Wedge is made of open cell polyester foam that's flame retardant in accordance with UL 94 HF-1 flammability testing. The design is very pleasing to the eye while offering outstanding low frequency sound absorption qualities. Practical 12" x 12" tile size makes installation a snap. The perfect solution for recording studios, auditoriums, home theaters, anechoic chambers, radio stations, and more. Description

As with 4" Studiofoam Wedges, 4" Studiofoam Pyramids are recommended for larger spaces, rooms with pronounced low frequency problems or where sonic accuracy is mandatory and stronger acoustic absorption is required. Having 4 sides exposed on each pyramid also yields more sound wave diffusion, which is desirable in some spaces. Thus, 4" acoustic Studiofoam Pyramids will yield less overall dryness than 4" Studiofoam Wedges.
