The Model WPW-D7.1 Home Theater Wallplate provides the finishing touch to home theater or multi-room speaker connections. Terminate speakers for Dolby¿ 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 systems with this double-gang wall plate. Eighteen gold-plated, color-coded binding posts accept up to 6 AWG wire, spade lugs or banana plugs. Two gold-plated RCA barrels make connecting dual powered subwoofers easy.This versatile wall plate accommodates either powered (using RCA jacks) or passive (using binding posts) subwoofer connections.

Convert wireless signals into powerline X10 signals. This multiple device RF base works with X10's line of RF remote controls and PIR motion sensors. Wireless X10 devices need this base unit to catch the radio signals and convert them to X10 signals on the electricity line. Add as many handheld remotes and X10 wireless devices as you want to each base. As long as the transmitters are on the same house code as the base, they will all control the same devices. Be careful to have only one RF base unit or X10 security console (which also change RF signals into X10 signals for the electricity line) per housecode. If more than one base unit is used on the same housecode, X10 signal collisions may result. The expandable RF Base includes a built-in appliance module which responds to unit codes 1 under the chosen house code. The appliance module can be controlled by wireless control or from another hardwired X10 transmitter. Like other Appliance Modules, it too is rated for 500 watts incandescent, 1/3 HP motor loads, and 15 amps resistive load (like a space heater.)

Description

The OnQ legrand Home Theater Outlet Straps feature two decorator frames to connect your in-wall speaker wiring to your home theater receiver. Each outlet strap contains five pairs of gold-plated binding posts and one female RCA jack. On the back, the binding posts have set-screw terminals that accept speaker wire up to 10 gauge. The RCA jack is backed with a female F-type connector. The strap also includes a connection for the sub-woofer for a true 5.1 multi-room audio installation. Decora-style cover not included.
