BEST DVD Onkyo HT SR 600?

Hello, am in India (Bangalore) and I recently purchased Onkyo HT SR 600 to 5.1 receieve speakers. I know it's the cheapest and best player DVDs that best suits this. I am basically confused because of these 1. I looked at the Philips DVD players and have output frequencies from 30 to 20,000 Hz How this affect the performance of my home theater as it has done its own frequency ranges. 2. DVD players with built in amplifiers. Thanks How are the different in terms of performance compared with those without an amplifier for this receiver?.

You do not need a DVD player with amplifier. These are for everyone in a system (for people who do not have a receiver). The frequency range is the output of the DVD audio players. Basically, do not worry about it, since any brand DVD player will output 20 or 30 Hz to 20,000 Hz (every ear can hear and a little more). Any DVD works for you. I would buy a cheaper but the brand because they have more than a few years (change to Blu-ray later).
