Audio Video Marketing

Audio Video Marketing is being used much today. And one reason is that Internet merchants are struggling to reach people through traditional routes such as text messages and sales letters. People are becoming more Internet savvy and more and turning to the Internet to find a solution or more information about something you are interested This is an opportunity for us Internet marketers and marketing audio and video gives us the tools to take advantage of this opportunity. In Audio Video Marketing we can capture the attention of persons supplying information these people are looking for. Suppose a person wants to learn how to create headers in Photoshop, we can take advantage of this and can offer free video tutorials this issue and convince them to give us their identification data such as email and name. Even the video and audio testimonials can be used here for show how they were helped by our free Photoshop video tutorials. Another way to use the audio and video marketing is to upload our videos to sites popular video such as YouTube and Google Video. These sites have a large following of their own and can help us win a large number of visitors in a very short time. Some Experts also advise to get videos onto our front page, as it helps create a good first impression. But be careful to provide an option for visitors your site to pass the video otherwise it would lose visitors who do not want to see the videos at that time. If you are not sure whether the marketing of audio and video is a good idea, then I would say that some reputable sellers have used audio and video marketing their product launches with great success. If you do not remember them, then I would upgrade the memory, mentioning some of them: - John Reese had used for the launch of its traffic Secrets course, Mike Filsaime used in launching his campaign and Butterfly Marketing Michael Cheney used it to launch Adsense his videos. Audio Video Marketing has also been used by many affiliate marketers who use videos to give prospects for an advance of the course contents and thus help make a aa purchase decision. These are the advantages of audio video marketing which makes it the number one choice of internet marketers. If you have not used, then I urge you to obtain this Free DVD which covers the marketing of audio and video and use that to attract more responsive to customers and prospects. Good lucky!

Description

This 5.8GHz Wireless A/V Transmission System consists of one transmitter and one receiver. This device transmits vivid video and hi-fi stereo sound wirelessly from a VCR, TV set, DVD player, satellite receiver or cable set top box to any TV or monitor. It can also be used in conjunction with a camcorder or CCD camera to create a wireless security monitoring system. The signal can go up to 300 feet with a clear light-of-sight, and has the ability to penetrate walls. The built-in IR remote extender allows the user to remotely control the audio/video sources in the other rooms. In addition, four user selectable channels allow multiple transmitters to operate with multiple receivers in the same area.

The average home entertainment system once consisted of a TV, stereo, and maybe a cable box. Now a modern system may also include a DVD player, satellite receiver, surround sound amplifier, digital video recorder, and an HD tuner, along with a PC designed to serve as a digital hub for certain audio/video functions. The RF Link AVS-5811 takes A/V technology to the next logical step by wirelessly transmitting audio and video signals from these components to any nearby TV, monitor, or stereo system, letting you enjoy vivid video and hi-fi stereo sound anywhere in the house. The A/V sender effectively lets you send signals to components located upstairs, several rooms away, or elsewhere without running bulky, space-consuming cables in the walls or under the floorboards. With the AVS-5811, viewers can watch simultaneous DVD or satellite programming on upstairs and downstairs TVs, or listen to their favorite tunes on stereos in three different rooms--all without wires. They can also use the sender to watch live video from a camcorder or CCD camera in a remote location, whether for security or entertainment purposes. Users who edit video or capture footage from TV programs on their computers will also find plenty to like about the device, as they can easily send the video from their Macs or PCs directly to a living room TV for viewing. The AVS-5811 comes with a 5.8 GHz wireless transmitter and a receiver with four selectable channels. Unlike more common 2.4 GHz transmitters, the AVS-5811 doesn't share a band with Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, 801.11b wireless LAN networks, and microwave ovens, ensuring a sharp, interference-free video signal. The four channels are also a bonus, as it lets users set up multiple transmitters and receivers in the same area without cross-channel noisiness. In addition, the sender includes a built-in IR remote extender that controls components from a distance, so a user can mute the bedroom TV while relaxing on the living room sofa, for instance. The sender features an NTSC/PAL video system and transmits to distances as great as 400 feet without obstructions. It's also relatively compact at 6.5 by 4.13 by 10.5 inches (W x H x D). What's in the Box Transmitter, receiver, two A/V RCA cables, two AC power adapters, IR mouse (remote extender), user's manual.

Features

  • Wireless video transmission system
  • Works with digital TV converter boxes to send an A/V signal to any TV in any room
  • Works with camcorders as a wireless surveillance monitoring system
  • Advanced 5.8 GHz technology avoids interference from any 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz application
  • Up to 300 feet of range

Fantastic Product

by Ravindra Nanga from Miami, Florida United States on 2010-09-02
Very easy to set up. Does what it says. Worked right out of the box, the IR feature worked great from the receiver.

Did not meet ANY expectations

by Johnna L. Hodges from Decatur, Georgia United States on 2010-08-31
Very very disappointed w/ this item. First, the set up instructions are awful. The instructions go as far as plugging it in. There is nothing about channel or remote set up. Second, both the box and the Amazon description suggest that the signal can penetrate walls. It cannot. The paperwork included with this pitiful item says, "...try to minimize obstacles (e.g. TV or other electornics, large furniture) where between the transmitter and receiver." In addition to poor editing of the document, one wonders, would you not consider a wall an obstacle. Regardless, this is a waste of time and money. I am returning my order.

Sent "USED' Non-Working Unit !!!

by S. MARKS from WASHINGTON D.C. on 2010-08-20
SOMEONE SWITCHED THE TRANSMITTER FOR A USED/NON WORKING ONE!! Recieved the 5811 Video extender yesterday. When I went to hook up the Transmitter, the packaging (not visible until removed from the box) was torn and not sealed like the rest of the components. The Transmitter had NO protective film over the IR receiver and. There were water marks and some soiled areas... There were severe scratches (from hard cleaning) on the unit. RED FLAGS WENT UP! Since my Video System was torn apart to install this, I decided to try the Transmitter anyhow.... Line Noise, Oscillations, Rastering, Drop Out and sound problems (to name a few)bwere what I got! I'm an Electrical Engineer and my set-up is correct. In fact I was replacing an older unit because I wanted the higher frequency to stop my TV from going 'NUTS' when the cordless phone rang. In my opinion, someone at the supplier SWAPPED the Transmitter to replace a bad one that another customer returned, or it was a return that wasn't inspected by the vendor.! (Manufacturers DON'T send USED equipment). This is a warning about this supplier!!! This item was fulfilled by Amazon (thank goodness) and their customer service has sent me a prepaid return and hopefully will issue a timely credit.

Great over short distances

by dhm19382 from West Chester, PA USA on 2010-08-16
We purchased this to replace an older 900 MHz transmitter / receiver that had poor picture quality and suffered interference with microwave oven. This unit's picture and sound quality is quite good, and is free from interference. Our application range is about 25 feet, separated by a stone wall, but I suspect signal path is through a doorway between the units. We do have occasional signal interference when we walk directly in front of the receiving unit, although this is not significant problem.

by Gerald Ringis from Allyn, WA, US on 2010-08-15
This item worked exactly as I wanted, my old one died after 6 years. We use it in the kitchen, this one even allows us to operate the microwave without interference with the video or audio.

Bello'O Rack Perfect Fit for Living Room in Size & Look

by Duane C. Bradley from Chi Town on 2010-04-07
The Bell'O rack looks fabulous in the modern decor of my living room. Extremely easy to assemble. However, the directions overlook a few items they should point out and I had to back track. In this case, their customer support was on the line in 5 minutes to assist me. I'm glad that I mail order this out and the vendor was way below other similar market offers ... which justified spending shipping costs.

BellO TV stand

by Terry McCammon from Illinois on 2010-01-10
There is not a lot to say. The item came properly packaged and with perfectly adequate instructions. All the hardware was present. I had it together in 15 or 20 minutes. The unit is striking, strong and stable. Some people state that it appears to lean slightly forward. I cannot see that. I did check and it is certainly plumb, square and level. The Amazon price was about $75 less than our local, good quality and good price mega-electronics store and there was no shipping, no sales tax and no problems.

High Quality Stand

by T. Warren from North Carolina on 2009-12-31
This stand was well packaged when I received it. The top shelf support had a defective weld. I emailed Bell'O, faxed them a copy of my receipt, and had a replacement part in one week. Their customer service was excellent. One installation tip: when you install the top glass shelf, loosen the 4 bolts holding the top shelf support, align & bolt the glass shelf down, then re-tighten the top shelf support bolts.I bought this stand for a 50" plasma, it fit perfectly, and the gloss black finish perfectly matched the TV. Thanks, Bell'O, for a great product.

Cicso WVC210 Wireless Camera

by Mixed Emotions from on 2010-08-24
As noted in the ratings, the camera is well made by a reputable company. Once configured and install most functions work well. The notable operational deficiency is the zoom function. The only zoom is two X and at that focal point the picture is distorted - somewhat pixelized. The picture quality when not in zoom mode is exceptional for the cost of the unit. The biggest deficiency is the bandwidth horsepower it takes to operate the camera. A minimum speed DSL connection will not work. Also there are some issues related to connecting to Cisco E-x000 series routers. Again the problem is bandwidth. Cisco small business support was top notched to try to get the configuration working, but lacks lab testing capability with consumer end router products made by their own company.Buyers should know, this is a small business grade product and meant to be used only through a robust broadband connection. Amazon.com should make stronger online/advertising notations regarding minimum hardware and network capability to use the camera effectively. End user consumers with marginal highspeed connections - beware, this product is not for you!

Solid Product, More Software Needed for Internet Use

by Bill Berg from Rochester, MN USA on 2010-08-12
The unit operated flawlessly right out of the box and was easy to use within my home LAN. I'm very happy with it's operation.I've been an operating systems programmer and personal gadget hacker for over 30 years. It was "kinda fun" for me to enable the video over the web, but it took a bit more time than I even enjoy, and no doubt would stymie a lot of people. Since I write software, I ALSO understand that adding this level of functionality to the unit / directions / web site would be daunting since there are so many different scenarios. Basically, you have to:-- Find and ID the unit on your Router/Modem -- either use the MAC, naming, fixed IP, or some way to allow you to forward one or more ports -- IP forward the port(s) through your firewall -- assuming that you are on some sort of Dynamic IP from your provider (and most of us are), you need to figure out how to make it appear to be a static IP so you can bookmark it. -- I used [...] ... essentially, they act as a proxy URL and when DNS gives you a new IP, they map to it from the old one.Using my not very fast upload speed ( ~ 500K bps ), the video is good enough to see how windy it is in the back yard. I have it up from sunup to sundown. [...]

Dont buy if you are a Mac user or want to view video on iPad/iPhone

by Daniel Rayburn from New York, NY United States on 2010-07-29
If you are a Mac user, don't get this camera. The install wizard does not work with Macs. You can only view the video in Explorer or Firefox which means you can't view the video on any Apple device like the iPhone or iPad. Setup instructions are horrible and they tell you to do things like "port forwarding" but then don't explain how to actually do it. Customer support techs are nice, but all of them I spoke to said "I don't know the Mac." Appears Cisco only caters to PC users. Too bad, the camera looks really nice but it's useless if you can't get it to work.Note to Cisco: The toll-free technical support number you have printed on the setup manual that comes with the camera is wrong. That gives you Cisco's general headquarters, not the tech support number for small business. Takes getting transferred from that number 2x to get to the right place.

Excellent Value

by Paul L. Khanton from New York, New York on 2010-07-12
Great product. This is our fourth WVC210. Outstanding picture clarity. Very reliable. PTZ works great. Cameras have been continually on for over two years. We also own a couple of WVC200 (older model) that have been online continuously for about 3 years. The 210 has significantly improved picture quality and so we only recommend the WVC210.The camera purchased from Amazon was exactly as described - new, in a box, sealed - and arrived promptly.

Solid but not flashy

by Alfred from Minnesota on 2010-04-21
I purchased this PTZ wireless internet camera so I could easily watch my home while away (see how our dog is doing in the kennel). It is satisfactory in this capacity. The "Zoom" is not what I expected. There is no optical zoom, only a 2x digital zoom. This only works inside of the browser plug-in that comes with the device. Doing a 2x zoom produces a very grainy image. In my opinion, this is not desirable. The pan/tilt functions work fine as do the 8 preset positions (note that zoom is not presetable). The unit has a fairly sensitive microphone but the squelch level is not adjustable so medium to soft sounds are full of audio dropouts. Color balance, in automatic mode, has a decidedly greenish tint. After several days of operation, the unit will stop streaming video. Fortunately, a "reset" function can be performed remotely which restores normal operation. Normally I use Internet Explorer to access the camera from the Internet (a special plug-in must be installed within IE). The application software (actually hosted by a computer inside the PTZ) is functional though a bit confusing at times. Presets are defined, modes selected, IP addresses configured, even overlaying date/time on the video feed are all settable. When away from a desktop, I use a program called "IP Cam Viewer" on a Google Nexus smartphone to view streaming images from this camera. No audio is supported on the IP Cam Viewer however I can flip among the pre-established presets. (When the camera pans and tilts, it is fairly noisy. This sound is easily heard by anyone in the room.) My setup consists of the CISCO PTZ camera with a wireless connection to a Linksys wireless router located about 40' away. The router is connected to a cable modem. I opened a port in the router to allow access to the PTZ from the general internet. This all works. One final comment, the "stand" that comes with the unit is non-adjustable and was a real pain. It is designed to hold the PTZ on a desktop so it is angled upwards. I wanted the camera to sit on top of a bookcase and look down into the room. The stand would not allow this position. So I finally had to build my own stand that holds the camera more vertical so I could achieve the downward angle wanted to image the room. Would I buy this again? Probably, but I would take a close look at the marketplace to see what else is there. The misleading claim of zoom capability, the color balance, and inability to preset-with-zoom are drawbacks in my opinion.

Works great for me

by sdflyer08 from on 2010-07-31
I installed this product in about 10 minutes and that included cleaning up the wiring. The transmitter is in one room and the receiver in another. There is no line of sight between them. Even with the bedroom door closed, it still works great. Only when one person stands in front of the receiver will it start to lose reception. I was able to send back my cable box which was in the bedroom previously, so this until will pay off in 2-3 months. One caveat: I have no wireless phones other than cell. But one of my neighbors must because when they are on the phone, my reception is messed up. But it doesn't happen very often. Also, the microwave will affect the unit. Again, very minor issue.I highly recommend.

This item has terrible instructions and difficult to use

by Betsy Cohen from on 2010-06-01
This item has terrible instructions on how to install it and we cannot get it to work properly. It needs to have diagrams showing exactly what part of the item they are talking about. If you have any more detailed instructions, please email them to me at: betsy.cohen@albrechtco.com.

Works great for the basics

by J. K. Matthews from Kenosha, WI USA on 2010-05-13
We are using this to send audio/video from our AT&T Uverse box in the living room to a small LCD TV in our kitchen. Probably about 40-50 feet and several walls in between. The sound and video quality are remarkably good. The only interference issue we have had is when we run the microwave (which is only a few feet away from the Terk receiver). We currently have an 802.11b/g wireless LAN and a baby monitor running with it and neither of those seem to interfere at all. Very happy with the purchase - especially the price compared to more expensive systems.

Did Not Work 30 Feet Through 1 Wall

by Amazon Todd from LA, CA USA on 2010-04-28
I set this up in my kitchen and the best picture I could get was black/white and grainy with bad sound quality. This device does not seem to penetrate walls well at all. If you need to go through walls, watch out. I should have opted for a better device.

good product despite some problems

by dan from texas on 2010-04-03
The picture quality is nice and the IR extender is the perfect bonus (despite some problems.) This is a great option to running cables, and for the price a good value.I have 2 sets and an extra receiver Terk LF30-RX Add-on Receiver for Terk LF-30S TV Anywhere Wireless A/V System between 15 and 30 feet apart. The quality of the a/v signal is comparable to an analog cable signal. I found pointing the antennae off-center a bit rather than directly at each other worked better, but your results may differ. There can be some very minor interference if somebody walks through the signal. The microwave oven causes more interference when it's on. My 5.8 GHz phone is not a problem. I've got no wireless network so can't comment on that.I'm using an a/v switch so I can choose from a few different sources (DVR, DVD, etc.) If you hook this up to the speaker jack on a PC-based DVR, make sure the volume is turned up on the PC and/or the DVR software.About the IR extenders - on my first order, both were opaque, almost black, and just didn't work. I called the manufacturer (who was courteous and knowledgeable) to no avail, so I just exchanged the whole lot. The replacements had red transluscent plastic extenders and these worked without a problem. I did have to try different positions for the extender so it wasn't in the way when pointing the remote directly at the source device, but a little off to the side works great. It's too bad this isn't compatible with the LF-IRX Terk Leapfrog Remote Control Extender Kit LFIRX so you can control multiple devices. When using the IR extender, clicking on the remote causes some interference in the a/v signal. It stops when you stop clicking, but it is a little annoying. The biggest problem I have with the IR extenders is that regardless of the a/v channel being used, the IR signal goes to all transmitters. If you've got only one set, not a problem. But say you've got 2 sets, one on channel A, and the other on channel B. The transmitter on channel A (Tx A) is connected to a DVR, along with the IR extender. If you point your remote at the receiver on channel B (Rx B), the IR is transmitted to both Tx B (as intended) and Tx A (not intended). If Rx B is near the DVR connected to Tx A, such that the remote hits both Rx B and the DVR, the DVR gets 2 signals: one from the remote and one from the IR extender on Tx A. They seem to interfere with each other because the DVR doesn't respond. Blocking Rx B from the remote allows the DVR to be controlled directly by the remote. Hopefully relocating Rx B away from the DVR will resolve this (though they're both connected to the same TV...)

Great Deal

by ronin7337 from on 2010-08-09
I have had this game system for a number of years and have always hooked it up with the RF switch. The video quality was always a bit grainy and I had to wiggle the connector to get a decent signal. This composite cable gives a good quality image and I am now able to play my retro games.

better than the ant hook up

by Ed from on 2010-07-06
Improves the pic a little bit. I'm replaying all of my old school sega games on my new plasma tv and I have to admit this ain't too shabby.

WORKS GREAT!

by Joseph Annunziata from NJ on 2010-05-20
granted its a mono cable its the only one available for the original genesis, that being said it works like a charm on my 37" 1080p lcd tv, got to play all my old games on my hd tv without having to plug into the cable line, clarity is SO much better then using cable as well.

YES, you will see a difference!!

by Bishop from Seattle, WA on 2010-03-26
So here was my situation-- Got a big ol' HDTV for Christmas and I've been getting back into video games again. The PS3 is a kicka$$ system, but I've had a bizarro urge to play old school games from the 80s and 90s-- including the Sega Genesis. I hooked the Genesis up to my HDTV using the standard RF box, but it looked like CRAP. Washed out colors, blurry... Who the heck wants to see that on the big screen?? So after coming across this cable, I figured it was worth a shot. So, was it?Yup. Now keep in mind that even with this cable, the Genesis still puts out standard resolution, not 720 or 1080. So nobody is going to see you playing Shinobi and say "hey, is this the PS3?" But the image will look a lot better than it does with the RF cable. The main difference is that the colors are more refined. I tested it out using the Spiderman game. While your character is standing still, with the RF box, you see what looks like a red halo around the arms, feet and head. With this cable, the halo is gone. All of the red stays within the lines as they are supposed to. And small lettering is alot easier to read. I saw an even greater difference when playing games on the Sega CD. Yeah, must of those games still suck, but at least they look alot better.Truth be told though, in the end, I hooked my Genesis back up to my old Philips 27" CRT instead of the HDTV. The difference is alot more striking when using this cable on a standard TV. I only keep that TV around for playing old school games, and this cable makes my Genesis look crisp and clear on that TV. One thing I just noticed-- this cable also works on the Sega Master System-- the A/V port in the back is the same as the Genesis. So if you want to make your Genesis look as good as it was made too, buy this cable.

The truth is...

by Jason R. Hoskie from New Mexico on 2010-02-20
When I tried to hook up my Genesis through the Coax Cable the picture looked terrible. I've gotten so used to todays graphics and I just could not get used to it.So I bought this cable in hopes of a decent clear picture. I was BLOWN AWAY with the results. This cable made everything look great. The color was strong, the picture was clear, and the graphics look wonderful. The Sega was really a good system.Note, there is only one audio cable (red audio). You will have to buy another cable to turn the red audio cable into a white and red. It won't be surround sound but you will get sound out of each side of your speakers. Didn't last 6 weeks

by snew from on 2010-09-08
I bought this product in early July. My baby just turned 6 weeks today and this product is already broken! It has been turned on MAYBE 5 times since purchased. The monitor worked great the 3 times we actually used it with the baby! After looking further into the negative reviews I see that the same exact problem that I am having happened to another purchaser. My monitor constantly says there is no signal. I tried to pair the camera with the lcd to correct this problem and apparently the "pair" function does not work. Also, in the instruction manual there is not a manufacturers name/number/email. So when this product breaks, the seller does not take refunds or exchanges after 10 days and apparently there is no manufacturer to call to fix any problems. It is definitely not worth $120 if it only lasts a handful of uses! So now I am out that money and have to buy another monitor! SOOOO Frustrating!!!!!

I have this for 10 months and could not imagine what i would do without it!!

by Jack Goodheart from on 2010-08-25
This is my 3rd child but my first video monitor. I don't know how I did it with my first two and not having this video monitor. Very easy to set up and use. The video quality is great as is the sound quality - I love the fact that the speaker only goes on when there is sound ands the most amazing thing about it is that can actually respond to my child via the built in 2 way Radio that future is truly amazing! you can see your baby in full color and at night the picture is great but black and white. and it is cheaper then all other brands WONDERFUL item and I would HIGHLY recommend it!!!

Had two units and they're both dead - Seller doesn't stand behind product

by C. Fournier from Virginia on 2010-08-22
I have had two of these units. The first, when received, did not work because the camera and monitor would not pair. After using the replacement unit for occasional naps over the past 3 months it's image slowly died one night and now it has the same problem.Unfortunately, this product is not made to last and DBRoth is not offering to assure the quality of it's products. Save yourself the headache and buy a brand name monitor from a reputable business. But if you're still interested, here is a list of the pros and cons from my point of view.Pros: - Good video quality. - You can talk to the baby from the monitor, so sometimes I was able to comfort my daughter without going into her room and I haven't been able to find this with another video monitor. - It has a pretty good range. I could take it outside and work in the garden on most sides of my house. - Both the monitor and camera have batteries that allow the units to work for about 2 - 3 hours without being plugged in. - Video image contrast is adjustable.Cons: - In theory you are able to manually press a button on the camera and the monitor to "pair" the units - that is, they lock into each others signals. My first unit never paired. My second unit worked for 3 months and then one night the video slowly went black and it would no longer pair. DBRoth would not give me an exchange or refund. - This is a generic, no name product. There is no customer service number or brand name for product support in the manual. - There is no indication on the monitor for battery life remaining. If you use the camera without the plug the only way you can tell the camera is dying is that the signal starts going in and out and then quits all together. This happened a couple of times before I realized what was going on, and you have to re-pair the items by holding them both together, removing the batteries, and hoping that function works. My daughter woke up from the disturbances each time. - Monitor screen is only visible from head-on. - Monitor switches randomly between normal sound listening mode into alarm mode, which doesn't work so well. In this mode it doesn't have any sound listening, it just emits a single alarm when a noise of a certain decibel is picked up. My daughter was crying her head off and the alarm only went off once during the whole fit. - As another user noted, the monitor noise only comes on when a noise of a certain decibel is detected. Sometimes this was true, sometimes the sound stayed on all the time. There was no rhyme or reason to how it chose from these three modes. - The monitor unit is larger than comparable units and can't be clipped to a belt or propped in a way that the image is readily visible. - When you turn on the monitor there is a loud initiation tune that is played. My husband often forgot and would turn on the monitor before leaving the nursery, only to wake my daughter.

Monitor - for peace of mind

by WJO from Florida on 2010-04-09
I use this monitor to let me keep an eye on my 87 yr old mother who has moderate dementia. It has a very clear monitor picture, the sound quality is way above average and the convenience of moving from room to room with my part of the monitor is awesome. I keep it in my bedroom at night, take it throughout the rest of the house during the day and even into the back yard when I'm working in my garden. It also eases her mind because she knows she can call to me when she needs me. I can answer her to let her know I'll be there shortly. I have tried several monitors over the past 6 or 7 years but this is the first one that meets all of our needs. I'm truly happy with this monitor.

An Unnessesary Dissapointment

by Richard J. Larson from on 2010-03-25
This model has good video quality and good audio quality. It includes battery pack for both pieces which is nice. However there is a terrible oversight that ruins this product in my opinion. The speaker always stays in off mode and comes on only if the sound gets to a certain decibel level. This is highly irritating because I cannot hear the small noises that can also be important. It didn't even pick it up when my daughter was faintly crying! So forget about hearing your child unless they are crying or talking loudly. I'm sure it's just a battery saving feature if they are running on the batteries, but why didn't they make it possible to change the setting on the speaker to full time?!! If I can't hear my infant stirring or if she's sick and possibly vomiting, this is not a safe baby monitor to me. Sure it has video, but who wants to keep their eyes glued to a video receiver? Otherwise it would be a good monitor. Good luck.

No Documentation.

by Sec+teach from FPO, AP USA on 2010-05-28
I would have liked to know that this product comes with no documentation or wire leads. While the product arrived in a timely fashion, I am returning it since there is absolutely nothing telling me about the install. Unless this is something you are very familiar with installing, I would ask for more details.

important equiptment

by Kenneth Savone from new orleans, la on 2009-06-25
this door strik could not have a better use, we installed the divice on an entry door for a handicap home for easy access. the home owner is a double amputee and has limited access to open his front door from his bed,the vidio door phone allowes him to see who is at his door, at that point he can press his entry botten that activates his striker to allow entry to his home without leaving his bedside.

A lot better than expected

by ThisIsCNN from on 2010-08-16
I usually don't write reviews, but in this case I felt that I had to. This unit was very easy to mount and run wires for. The picture quality is very very good, especially for the price. I have friends who install these types of systems all the time, and they couldn't even come close to the price of this system. I have worked with cctv systems in the past, and the usb flash drive backup is a very nice feature. With a 500gb hard drive, you will get a couple of weeks of video that you can review. I cannot speak as to the longevity of this system, as it has only been installed since yesterday, but so far, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Outstanding company and Very good full system

by M. Hajar from Chi,usa on 2010-04-13
I'm happy with the system and the company outstanding customer support & after sales service. They resolved big problem within few days. I placed the order at Amazon, no place to request the cameras input voltage to be 240v and not 120v. After receiving the system, I emailed the company and they replied with the following answer: "our shipment guy don't know your 240V special requirement. I will send another 4 x 240V Power adapter to you tomorrow." And yes they did send me 4 more adapters with no questions asked or anything to pay. The company is definitely professional. I'm pleased with system; I tested everything, and all working as expected. I tested the LAN connection (easy). I also tested the WAN (remote access). It was a bit difficult but manageable with some networking knowledge. Its working well with DSL & its slow by dialup. The picture on my LCD TV does not show the room true colors. I don't know why yet. Cameras are NOT made by Sharp or Sony but they said they are made from sharp or Sony parts. They look high quality cams. The documentation was supplied by email not in the box(But not full functions docs). This company got my trust and they deserve an outstanding review.

Very good Zune Dock

by Lex from on 2010-09-08
I received this Dock as a gift about a month ago, and have used it about every day since. It was very easy to set up and get working, and took about ten minutes to plug in and set the clock, date, and radio presets. I have been using my ZuneHD with it, with no problems thus far.Pros: -Good sound quality, nothing major but good for your nightstand. -Has two Alarms that can be set to beep, Radio, or Zune. -Alarm starts out quiet and gets louder until you turn it off. -Has adjustable Sleep function that lets you set it to turn off music after a set amount of time. -Has six radio presets -Eight brightness settings that range from bright to basically off. -Charges Zune -Displays Date and Time.Cons: -No remote included or available. You have to skip or change songs on the Zune. (It does have Pause/Play button) -There are three buttons for the six radio presets.(two per button) -Zune feels a little loose when in the cradle.I gave it a four only because I would love for it to have a remote or even have to option to buy one. The fact that it doesn't have one could be considered a fatal flaw. But overall, if a remote is not important, then this is a definite buy.

Great Service

by gmancarbon1 from on 2010-09-07
great service arrived a day early and the quality of this item is amazing i would recommend this to any Zune user.

Good Alarm clock for Zune

by Carrie Mitchell from on 2010-09-03
I love this alarm clock because i am able to wake up to music from my Zune HD. The only problem i have with it is that it does not include a remote and you have to change the song from your Zune not from the alarm clock. Other than that i love it!

No good Zune alternatives.

by Mark I. Agee from Dallas, TX USA on 2010-08-16
I think I've tried every external speaker system for the Zune and this is one of the weakest. For this price, there should be a remote control,--but there isn't. The sound quality is modest at best. The buttons make no sense what-so-ever,--for instance if you want to skip to the next song, you have to fiddle with the unit in the cradle since there is no button on the speaker system.

Great Clock Radio/Docking Station

by Bradley E Mixan from Indianapolis, IN on 2010-07-22
After owning the IHome ZN9 for over a year and being completely happy with it I wanted to get another. Since that model is no longer in production I went with the ZN90. There aren't many options for Zune alarm clock/docking stations out there, but luckily this one does the trick. As a alarm clock, this product works as advertised. The eight different brightness settings are nice, especially since I like to have the display off and the room as dark as possible when going to sleep. Additionally the alarm is nice since it gradually increases in volume until you turn it off or snooze it, as opposed to instantly blaring in your ear when you wake up.As a docking station/music player it does a good job as well. I use the ZN90 at work in my cubicle to listen to podcasts and music. It is not something I'd use to play music in a party setting, there are other products for that, but it can definitely fill a room with sound. The AM/FM antennas work well and I can pick up the local stations no problem, which is great if I want to listen to a baseball game at work.Overall I would definitely recommend this product.
